Jess Riding – Candidate in Burscough Town
Jess has lived in Burscough all her life and for the past 21 years she has proudly run the local pharmacy, serving generations of families in the Burscough community. Every day, she listens to residents, helps solve problems and sees first-hand the challenges people face. Burscough is not just where she works – it is her home and she cares deeply about its future.

Jess is standing for election on 7th May with Our West Lancashire because she believes our community deserves strong, independent representation that focuses on practical action, not party politics. Jess is not a career politician. She is someone who listens carefully, works hard and believes that if something needs doing, we should get on and do it properly.
Residents regularly raise the sae issues with Jess: potholes that damage cars and are repaired poorly; a local park that needs investment to make it safer and more welcoming to families; and a lack of waste bins that leaves our streets and green spaces untidy. These may seem like small issues to some, but they matter in our daily lives – and they deserve consistent attention and sensible solutions.
Jess has spent over two decades serving Burscough face to face. Now she wants to serve it in a new way: by being a steady, approachable and accountable voice at the council, working to protect and improve the place we all call home.
